Techniquest is a registered educational charity whose mission is to engage all sections of society into STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) and motivate them to learn more. In particular it aims to aid those who are most disadvantaged to overcome barriers they face which may include geographical isolation and a lack of opportunity.
Its programmes and exhibits are designed to act as catalysts in raising the aspiration of children and young people thus enabling them to participate in society and contribute to scientific debate.
Techniquest’s vision is to enable every child in Wales to be involved in STEM. This will have a long-term impact on Wales as a whole enabling it to develop the skills and infrastructure to support a successful and sustainable future.
