Temporary Education and Media Developer
July 2013-March 2014 (9 months)
Techniquest is a leading science discovery centre based in the popular Cardiff Bay area. We develop high quality engaging educational programmes and science exhibitions for use in Wales, and for other organisations worldwide.
We are now seeking a motivated individual, to work as part of the busy Education Team, who can contribute to the successful delivery of education and media projects for internal and external clients, helping to ensure outcomes that are high quality, innovative and user-friendly. The successful candidate will plan, design and develop STEM education resources. This includes shows and workshops, interactive exhibits and other media, ensuring that these are delivered on time and on budget and reach the high standards associated with Techniquest.
We are looking for individuals who can demonstrate:
- An understanding of teaching and the needs of formal education
- The ability to work within a team, and with partners, stakeholders, contractors and consultants
- A creative approach in the development of resources
- Excellent presentation skills with a variety of audiences
Salary £19345 pro rata
