Techniquest is a popular destination for schools because visits are so well organised. Coaches for pre-booked groups can park on the forecourt, and Techniquest staff will go aboard to welcome the pupils and outline the plans for their visit.
Areas can be set aside for pupils to eat their packed lunches – but as space is limited it is important to reserve these facilities when making your booking.
Drinks, snacks and lunchtime meals at reasonable prices are available at Café Quest.
Techniquest is always ready to help and support all visitors. There is easy wheelchair access, disabled toilets and a lift to all parts of the building. Please discuss your particular needs with us when you book.
Teachers – or other adults responsible for group visits – are welcome to make an advance visit to help with their planning. Please identify yourself to admissions staff, and sign in for free entry. Please contact us in advance if you have specific queries.
