Mathcymru Grants Scheme
The Welsh Assembly Government is once again providing grant funding for schools to set up maths projects and activities.
This is a great opportunity to strengthen your school’s performance in maths by investing in a teacher led project with the help of this grant fund. Do you have a maths project for your school that you want to make a reality?
A grant of up to £1,000 can be provided for a successful project application.
The project may be linked to Wales Maths Week in October, but does not have to be completed during that week. The application procedure is simple and you are encouraged to use this opportunity to apply.
The success of an application is heavily dependent on matching the criteria within the guidelines. Please read and follow these carefully to give your application the best chance before the independent judges. All applications must be approved by the school's headteacher. Only one application per school will be permitted, although projects incorporating more than one activity are encouraged.
