When will the date for Wales Maths week be publicised?
The date of Wales Maths week is set once the funding has been secured from the Welsh Assembly Government. This is usually authorised at the end of March, and the date is then agreed.
If you wish to voice your opinion as to the best date in the school year please contact Mathcymru.
Why was my grant application unsuccessful?
The grant awards are judged by a panel of external independent judges and representatives from mathcymru. Often very worthwhile projects are not awarded monies due to the guidelines not being clearly met. A number of applications do not succeed as they do not detail the cost expenditure, or weight the spend money on resources and training without detailing the project.
