Mathamagicians
Has your Primary School yet been selected for a free visit by a ‘mathamagician’ in Wales Maths Week?
Part of the Mathcymru fund is set aside each year to fund a day long visit by a professional travelling mathematician. There are currently four mathematicians who visit the four geographical regions of Wales, they will spend one day at your school presenting activities and engaging shows for as many pupils and covering the key stages of your choice. The visits are arranged through the Mathcymru coordinator and in consultation with the mathematician, you will select a day of your choice for the visit.
Our four professional mathematicians are:
- Paul Godding – South East Wales
- Paul Stephenson – North Wales
- Gerry Walker – Mid and South West Wales
- Selwyn Van Zeller – Mid Wales
