TECHNIQUEST@NEWI offers over 60 hands-on exhibits complemented by a varied programme of interactive shows, workshops and special events. The programme is designed to stimulate and motivate pupils as well as provide informal support for teachers in their delivery of the National Curriculum. A dedicated team with a wide range of primary and secondary teaching experience is at your service to answer questions, offer guidance and ensure you get the most from your visit. The programme for schools offers curriculum-linked demonstrations that make science come alive! Presentations and activities for Reception, KS1, KS2, KS3 and KS4 plus special events and Workshops throughout the year.

Starlab

Available from January 2006 KS1 - KS4
Bring the night sky to your school. TECHNIQUEST@NEWI’s presenter will set up this inflatable planetarium and deliver presentations about the sky at night and the planets of the solar system for a full day in your school hall. Presentations are tailored to the ages and abilites of your pupils, from KS1 up to KS4. Cost: from £210 + VAT.
