You don’t need to be a family to be a Friend of Techniquest.
Our Friends of Techniquest scheme has been updated so you can now join as part of a family group – or on your own.
As a Friend of Techniquest you are actively supporting our mission to make science accessible to everyone, through our innovative approach to science education and public programmes.
Techniquest is an educational charity and, although it receives an annual grant from the National Assembly for Wales, it relies on income from admissions to help fund its work.
Friends of Techniquest offers great benefits including:
- Free admission to members to the Techniquest exhibition for a whole year.
- Free admission to the Planetarium once each visit (subject to availability – you must book on arrival).
- Free entry to Techniquest Glyndwr and free entry to more than 250 science centres worldwide through ASTC (Association of Science Technology Centres – NB does not include At-Bristol).
- 10% discount in the Techniquest gift shop.
- 10% discount on purchases made at the National Museums and Galleries of Wales Gift Shops.
- Discounts on special ticketed events at the National Museums and Galleries of Wales.
- Discounts on children’s birthday parties at Techniquest.
- A quarterly copy of The Quest, the Friends of Techniquest newsletter.
