Opening

Techniquest in Cardiff Bay welcomes public visitors throughout the year. We are open both days at the weekend, on Bank Holidays and all week during school holidays.

Normal opening hours: 9.30am – 4.30pm on weekdays during school term time (Tuesday – Friday only).
10am – 5pm on weekends, bank holidays and 7 days a week during local school holidays.

The building is closed for a few days over Christmas. We are also closed to visitors on Mondays during school term time, but we will be open on Bank Holiday Mondays and on Mondays during local school holidays.

Techniquest is a registered charity and admission prices include a voluntary donation of ten per cent. This enables Techniquest to claim Gift Aid on 100% of the admission charge.

*Admission prices excluding donation are adult £6.30, child £4.50 concession £4.50, family £20.70.
Mastercard, Visa and Switch cards are accepted. Tesco Deals Tokens may be tendered against individual admission charges (including voluntary donation) for adults, concessions, and children. Deals Tokens are not valid for Family Group admission, which is already heavily discounted.

Customer Notice

From 30 June 2011, Techniquest and Cafe Quest will no longer accept personal cheques as a method of payment. You will still be able to pay with cash, or most debit and credit cards.
