Ghoul School

Victims — er, we mean visitors — are invited to step into the enchanting world of Ghoul School this October!

To make the most out of Halloween, we’ll be looking at how you can use science and technology to make this Halloween an absolute scream.

At our Ghoul School, you will learn how to set a spooky atmosphere, make a terrifying entrance and finish with a bang.

It will be a hair-raising experience for everyone to enjoy!

• Age guidance: 5+

  Our live science show presenters adapt to the audience in front of them, so anyone from 5 to 95 should find plenty to engage with!

  You may not find the live demos as relevant for under-5s, but please check with staff before booking if you’re unsure.

• Tickets

  Please note that every show ticket must be booked in conjunction with a valid admissions ticket. Availability is limited, so the best way to guarantee your space is to book in advance.

• Medical considerations

  If you have pacemaker or other implanted medical device, we will advise you to sit towards the back of the Science Theatre as one of the demonstrations generates an electrical field, which may affect some devices.

  If you are a wheelchair user and you also have pacemaker or other implanted medical device, unfortunately we would not be able to admit you to this particular show, as the wheelchair spaces in the Science Theatre are very close to the stage.

• Other information

  There is a loud bang at the end of this show. Ear defenders will be given out before the show starts, and plenty of warnings will be given before the bang.
