Techniquest

Where else can your pupils fire a doll across the room using a seesaw; launch a water rocket; sit down on a seat of 800 nails and be a space explorer? Techniquest, of course.

Techniquest makes learning STEM subjects exciting, challenging and fun and with our new membership scheme, your primary school can visit free, as many times as you want during the academic year for just £295 (plus VAT).

At £4.50 per child, per visit if you don’t have membership, you don’t need to be a maths teacher to see that our membership scheme is extremely good value!

If that’s not enough the membership also includes:

  • One free workshop or show from Techniquest at your school (worth £300) — we guarantee that your pupils will go back to the classroom buzzing;
  • Priority booking for new shows;
  • Eligibility to be involved in trials of new shows and/or programmes free of charge;
  • Priority notifications of new exhibits at Techniquest;
  • A membership certificate for your staffroom.

And that’s not all…

This amazing scheme gives every year group from Reception to Year 6 full access to every Science Theatre Show, Planetarium Show, and Workshop (subject to availability), at Techniquest in Cardiff Bay.

Don’t forget, each visit includes time spent on the Exhibition Floor with 120 mind-boggling exhibits, which we know will inspire and motivate your pupils while they are having fun!

We know that some teachers find delivering STEM topics daunting, so we’ll also throw in some CPD for the teachers who visit us.
