Rainbow Reactions
Have you ever thought about how much brighter the world around us is because of colour?
Just think how dull it would be if everything was black and white; it would be a bit like living in an old film.
But how can you turn something that’s clear into a rainbow? What difference can ultraviolet light make to how we see things? And how can fire burn in different colours?
Join us in the Lab for the Rainbow Reactions workshop, to discover all this and more!
Minimum age requirement: 7+
This activity is not suitable for children under 7. All children booked into the workshop must be accompanied by at least 1 paying adult. Children under 7 will not be admitted.
Tickets
Tickets to this show can be purchased when you buy admission to Techniquest. Once you’ve added your admission tickets, you will be given options to book this as an add-on.
Additional information
- Duration: 45 minutes. Don’t worry if your workshop ends after your admission time slot has finished — it doesn’t count towards your time on the exhibition floor.
- £2 per person (must be booked in conjunction with a valid admissions ticket)
- Please note that we are currently unable to accommodate any guests in wheelchairs in our Lab.
