We are creating opportunities which are of, by and for all. There are many ways you can get involved with Wales’ largest science and discovery centre.
Projects
We collaborate with a range of audiences and create participant led projects. Our projects enable us to:
- Engage with a wide range of audiences
- Reflect the cultural and social experiences of the local community
- Build science capital in the local area
- Collaborate, co-curate or co-produce interesting and relevant projects
- Undertake research which supports the creation of Techniquest workshops, content and shows
- Create life-long connections between individuals and STEM

Are you a local resident to Techniquest?
Our connect membership scheme was created to encourage individuals from the local area to engage regularly with Techniquest.
ESOL Classes & Hire Space
We are dedicating a space to our local area, that will be used for new, creative and relevant ways.
We will launch the space in spring 2020. In the meantime, we continue to work with a small number of groups from the local area to understand how to created a space which is of, by and for local people.

Touring Exhibits
You could host one of Techniquest’s classic exhibits in your community space!
Apply for our annual ‘Exhibits in the Community’ scheme for the chance for your organisation to provide temporary home to one of our classic exhibits for a year. Create a buzz in your venue by introducing one of our interactive classic exhibits and make your space stand out from the crowd.

Audience research
Our audience research empowers individuals to share their knowledge and life experiences. Research helps us understand their world and connect their interests with science, education and community development, highlighting and addressing questions that are relevant to those who participate.
Whether you’re an organisation or individual, you can be involved in our research.
