Exhibit: Hydrogen Rocket

Turn the handle until you have enough fuel to launch the rocket.  When you press the button the gases burn and shot the rocket high into the air.  When you turn the handle, you are actually turning a generator which passes an electrical current through water within the exhibit, the current splits the water into its component parts, Hydrogen and Oxygen.  As you turn the handle you will notice that there is twice as much Hydrogen as Oxygen being produced.  When you have a sufficient amount of gas to power the rocket, press the button to initiate the count-down sequence.  The valves open to mix the gases before the spark-plug ignites the mixture.  The hot steam created is at a very high pressure and as it expands, shoots the rocket upwards.  The rocket falls back down the guide-wire and resets for the next user.
