Home Educators can bring their children to Techniquest during term-time, for a reduced rate.
They can further their learning by using the two floors of hands-on exhibits, and optionally book on to additional activities which vary from month to month.
Home Educator session activities
Educational live science shows and lab workshops are available during home educator sessions, for a small additional charge (limited spaces available).
On days where there are multiple live science shows in the Science Theatre, entry into 1 Theatre show gives you complimentary entry to the other — just add both to your basket and the discount will be automatically applied at checkout. Please note that this discount is for the live science shows only, and does not include the Lab workshops or the Planetarium.

Home Educator adult pass — new for 2023!
We want to make it easier for our home educating families to visit more often.
That’s why we’re introducing the Home Educator adult pass — and the best news is, it’s the same price as one adult admission.
Simply purchase an accompanying adult ticket as normal for your first visit, and we will then enrol you into our annual pass scheme, meaning on future visits you only pay for your child tickets!
The Home Educator adult pass is valid for 12 months from the date of your first visit.
Please note that the Home Educator adult pass is only valid for use during Home Educator sessions, and only covers admission to the exhibition.
