Techniquest is delighted to have been able to complete the design and manufacture two interactive exhibits that allow our visitors to explore wind power, energy generation and the importance of saving energy thanks to funding from Biffa Award; a multi-million pound fund that helps to build communities and transform lives through awarding grants to community and environmental projects across the UK.
The first exhibit allows visitors to investigate how blades with different shapes and sizes affect the amount of electricity produced by wind turbines. The second exhibit allows visitors to work together to experiment with power generation and discover more about how much energy is used by everyday items around the home.
