Research Placements & ExperiencesResearch Placements & Experiences provides over 1,000 Year 12 students with the opportunity to work alongside STEM professionals.
Techniquest is very excited to be managing the placements for Wales again this year, supported by STEM Learning.
Year 12 students studying Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) subjects at a state-maintained school or college in the UK are eligible to apply.
There are two types of placement we offer:

Available research projects all contain scientific or technical content, and may be based in laboratories, field work or offices.
Placements take place across the UK during the Summer Holiday period, and are administered in Wales by Techniquest. We are here to help you every step of the way.
