With over 50 new exhibits, our science and discovery centre is split between five key themes (Space, Chemistry, Biomedical Science, Environment and World Issues), providing an out-of-the-ordinary learning environment in line with the Curriculum of Wales.
Techniquest is supporting teachers in exciting new ways, with a brand-new Digital Outreach Programme!
Pupils can now experience Techniquest’s educational programmes and engage with STEAM without having to leave the classroom.
Currently on offer we have digital science shows with new shows added throughout the year. Through interactive video content and with downloadable resource packs available, schools can purchase one of our online Science Shows that will give 21 days of unlimited access at an affordable price.
Each show will follow key themes across the new Curriculum for Wales and all have been successfully piloted with many schools.
Your school may be eligible for a free Digital Outreach Programme. Please get in touch to find out more.
School visits are always welcome throughout the academic year.
With two-floors of exhibits to explore, teachers can use the day as an enhanced learning experience and let students explore the different sections of STEAM educational content.
Please note: under the current health and safety guidelines from the UK Government, our Planetarium and Science Theatre shows are not currently running. Exhibits at Techniquest are all fully compliant under the latest guidelines, with safety measures in place and regular cleaning activity a priority.
