The Slime Lab

Get stuck in to this hands-on workshop where you’ll mix your own personal pot of slime.

What makes slime slimy? Will yours be sticky or fluffy? Sparkly or gross? With loads of ingredients and colours to experiment with in the lab, you can really make it your own.

It’s messy, magical science at its best — and everyone leaves with their own brilliant blob of slime to take home!

• Minimum age requirement: 5+

  This activity is not suitable for children under 5. All children booked into the workshop must be accompanied by at least 1 paying adult. Children under 5 will not be admitted.

• Duration

  The workshop lasts for 45 minutes. Your slime will be ready to take home at the end of the workshop.

• Allergy warning

  This workshop involves the use of PVA glue, sodium bicarbonate, contact lens solution, shaving foam, fragrance/essential oils for scent and mica powder for colouring. Some of these ingredients may contain allergens or irritants. Nitrile gloves (latex and powder free) will be available.

• Accessibility

  There is space for two wheelchairs. Our KLA Lab is an enclosed area, but you can leave if you’d like to. Sensory bags are available from the ticket desk (£20 refundable deposit, subject to availability).

• Tickets

  Every workshop ticket must be booked in conjunction with a valid admissions ticket. One ticket covers a workshop kit for 1 child and 1 accompanying adult. A ticket for a kit is required for each child taking part. Additional accompanying adults may be allowed into the space on the day, subject to capacity and at the discretion of the workshop leader.
