We’re celebrating 40 years of discovery at Techniquest, and we’re kicking off the birthday festivities on Saturday 11 July & Sunday 12 July with some amazing new exhibits!
Be the first to enjoy our exciting additions headlined by the return of mind-boggling fan favourites, the Mirror Maze and Head on a Plate.
We’re also launching some new musical exhibits, including a Laser Harp, Build Your Own Xylophone, and a Playful Looper, where you can make and record your own beats. Dance to your own rhythm while learning about the science of sound.

The Science Theatre becomes the stage for the Battle of the Bangs, our new live science show that pits Techniquest’s greatest ever booms, bangs and fireballs head-to-head to determine which one our visitors love best.
And there are more add-on activities in the Lab and the Planetarium to make your day out even more AMAZING!
Find out more about our A-mazing Summer below.
