Techniquest provides opportunities for Home Educators to visit during term time.
Educational live science shows and Lab workshops are also available during the visit, for an additional charge (limited spaces available).
During weekends and school holidays an informal education programme for all the family is on offer, with the exception of special events such as Toddler Days. These events cannot be pre-booked, and normal admission charges apply.

Home Educator adult pass — new for 2023!
We want to make it easier for our home educating families to visit more often.
That’s why we’re introducing the Home Educator adult pass — and the best news is, it’s the same price as one adult admission.
Simply purchase an accompanying adult ticket as normal for your first visit, and bring some ID with you from your local authority that shows your home educating status. If this is not something you have, please get in touch with us so we can discuss other forms of proof that may be applicable. We will then enrol you into our annual pass scheme, meaning on future visits you only pay for your pupil tickets!
The Home Educator adult pass is valid for 12 months from the date of your first visit.
Please note that the Home Educator adult pass is only valid for use during Home Educator sessions, and only covers admission to the exhibition.
