With around 100 billion cells, it’s the most complex part of the human body and looks after a lot more than just how brainy we are — or aren’t.
Discover more about how brilliant the brain is in our hands-on workshop in the KLA Lab, and see if you can work out which grey matter belongs to which animal in one of our fun tests.
You’ll even get the chance to perform your own ‘brain surgery’ using specialist tools, and take out something that shouldn’t be there…*

This activity is not suitable for children under 7. All children booked into the workshop must be accompanied by at least 1 paying adult. Children under 7 will not be admitted.
