What should rockets be made of? How do astronauts survive inside rockets? What do rockets do?

Get hands on with rocket science in the KLA Lab. We’re investigating space rocks, the power of the vacuum of space and how to keep astronauts alive.

This IS rocket science.

  • Minimum age requirement: 7+

    This activity is not suitable for children under 7. All children booked into the workshop must be accompanied by at least 1 paying adult. Children under 7 will not be admitted.

  • Allergy warning

    This workshop involves handling freeze-dried bananas and red berries. If you have an allergy to bananas and/or red berries but still wish to take part, Nitrile gloves (latex and powder free) can be provided on request.

  • Tickets

    Please note that every workshop ticket must be booked in conjunction with a valid admissions ticket. Availability is limited, so the best way to guarantee your space is to book in advance.
