Techniquest isn’t just for kids. It’s for big kids, too.
Our After Hours adult night is back in August for a special solar eclipse afterparty.
Come and celebrate this rare celestial event with like-minded folk. We’ll be hosting astronomy talks, planetarium shows and food and drink stalls, plus a games area in collaboration with Cardiff board game connoisseurs, Chance & Counters.
This is the closest the UK will get to a full eclipse until 2090! Free solar eclipse viewing glasses will be available to collect from Techniquest from 2pm on the day, thanks to our friends at The Fin Whale Eclipse Project. Go and find yourself a west-facing viewing spot then gather with us afterwards to celebrate into the night.
